At Meridian Design Construction, we prioritize a seamless collaboration from concept to completion, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision. Our proven process combines expert design, meticulous planning, and skilled craftsmanship to deliver exceptional, lasting results.
Phase I
Initial Consultation & Budgeting
Initial Phone Call
We start with a call to understand your construction goals and expectations. We’ll discuss our process, provide a ballpark budget, and review your ideal timeline and outcomes. This helps determine if we’re the right fit for your project.Walk-Through
Next, we schedule an on-site walk-through to take measurements, assess conditions, and develop a detailed scope of work with you.Budget & Proposed Scope of Work
From the walk-through, we create a customized, line-item budget, so you know exactly what to expect. We charge a $450 fee for a 30-minute consultation and detailed budget breakdown. This fee covers our time and expertise, and it is not applied to future costs if you don’t proceed with us.
Our detailed upfront planning ensures that our final budget is typically within the initial estimate, offering transparency and confidence as you move forward.
Phase II
Design Vision & Material Selection
Design Agreement & Vision Development
Once the budget is approved, we dive into the design phase! We’ll work with you to develop a design that reflects your style and meets your needs. This phase includes a design fee, which we’ll discuss once the budget is finalized and is applied to your project when you begin construction with MDC.Material Selection & Sourcing
We’ll help you choose the perfect materials by visiting showrooms and using professional drawings to bring your vision to life. You’ll have samples to make sure everything fits your space perfectly.Material Procurement & Management
Meridian handles all material ordering, tracking, and inspection to ensure everything is ready for installation. Our management keeps things running smoothly and prevents delays, setting us up for a seamless transition to construction.
Phase III
Construction & Installation
Now for the fun part—construction! After all the planning, it's time to bring your design to life. This phase moves quickly because we've set everything up for success.
We hold weekly meetings to keep everyone—clients, contractors, and subcontractors—on track and informed, ensuring a smooth and efficient project.

Behind Meridian
Justin's journey into the construction world started early, thanks to his father, a plumber and craftsman. From a young age, he soaked in the industry, learning both what he admired and what he wanted to do differently. This hands-on knowledge led him to start his own general contracting company, where for the past 20 years, he has built a strong reputation. Outside of work, Justin loves reading and spending quality time outdoors with his daughters, Billie and Georgia. He's also passionate about health and fitness as well as giving back to those in need through Meridians many charitable donations.
